Terms of Use
These rules cover how you may use the content on Boat Axis. In short: read it, share links to it, and quote a little with credit. Please do not copy, scrape or resell it.

- You may read, print and share links to our pages for personal use.
- Short quotes are fine with credit and a link back.
- Copying whole articles, scraping and using our content to train AI models are not allowed without permission.

About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to everyone who visits boataxis.com. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions, which cover warranties, liability and governing law.
What you may do
We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Site. Under this license, you may:
- Read our pages and print a copy for your own personal use.
- Share links to our pages on social media, forums and messages.
- Quote short excerpts, up to about 50 words, if you credit Boat Axis and link to the original page.
What you may not do
Unless we give you written permission, you may not:
- Copy, republish or redistribute our articles, charts or images, in whole or in large part.
- Use our content for commercial purposes, including on another website or in a product you sell.
- Scrape, crawl or harvest the Site with bots or automated tools, except for standard search engine indexing.

- Pretend to be Boat Axis or claim a relationship with us that does not exist.

Who owns the content
All original text, charts, tables, graphics and the design of the Site belong to Boat Axis and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Product names, logos and brands belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
Comments and community
Where comments are open, please keep them helpful and respectful. We remove spam, personal attacks, hate speech, self-promotion and links added only for SEO.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect copyright. If you believe content on Boat Axis infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at legal@boataxis.com. Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- The exact URL of the material on our Site.
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. We remove material from repeat infringers.
Security and monitoring
We use security tools, including Cloudflare, to protect the Site. We may block any IP address, device or network that shows abusive or automated behavior.
Breaking these terms
If you break these terms, your license to use the Site ends automatically. We may block your access and take legal action where appropriate.
Changes
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
